For Apprentices…
Apprenticeships are a great way to combine your training with real work, for a real boss, earning a real wage. If you are thinking about the future, then think apprenticeships.
As an apprentice, you’ll be contracted to an employer for a nominal period of time, giving you the opportunity to complete hands-on training and gain trade qualifications. You’ll also come to Major Training Group to complete practical and classroom learning.
Facts about apprenticeships
- Apprenticeships combine work with structured training
- Apprenticeships can take up to 4 years to complete, depending on how quickly your skills progress
- Apprenticeships require employers to enter into a training contract with their apprentice to ensure you get the right training for your future
- Training takes place in the workplace and with the training provider (Major) at our specialised training facility
We’ll work with you and your employer throughout your apprenticeship to develop a flexible training delivery plan, assess your achievements and issue your qualifications when your apprenticeship is complete.
Australian Apprenticeships are available to anyone of working age and do not require any entry qualifications. You can be a school-leaver, re-entering the workforce or simply wishing to change careers.
