TRAFFIC CONTROLLER AND REFRESHER COURSE:

This program is designed to provide drivers with the skills and knowledge necessary to operate as a traffic controller as required by the Traffic Controller Accreditation Scheme. The course has classroom training and practical activity and both require assessment.

TARGET POPULATION:

People whom wish to seek employment in the Traffic Controller Industry.

COURSE DATES & TIMES:

Courses are available at our Yatala & Morayfield campus each week.
  Yatala - Every Wednesday from 12pm
  Morayfield - Every Tuesday from 12pm
Weekend courses are run monthly and External courses are subject to numbers or by prior arrangement. Contact our office for bookings.

COURSE DURATION:

Course runs for approximately 5 hours, with 4 hours required for refresher. This includes both training and assessment.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS:

    * Be able to read and write Basic English (Workplace Health & Safety
       Requirement).
    * A Minimum of 18 years of age, (Workplace Health & Safety Requirement).
    * Current Queensland drivers license
    * Please arrive in work clothes and enclosed work boots, a pen would be good
       also.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Please note Traffic controllers require a Blue Card Construction Induction Card to operate on work sites. This is not a pre?requisite in the Traffic Controller Course run by Major.
