Hi,

I recently completed the HR Driver training course, 3 day, with John and I would
appreciate it if you could pass on to the Driver Training Manager my appreciation
for John's efforts and patience. He was clearly very knowledgeable, patient and
 communicated his knowledge in a relaxed and friendly manner. His good humour made
the course very enjoyable.


The opportunity to keep the same instructor and vehicle right the way through to my
test I believe greatly assisted me to remain relaxed and comfortable in this new
environment and assisted me to successfully obtain my licence.


I would also like to complement the office staff, who at all times, on the phone
and in person, treated me courteously with an efficient and friendly manner.
Each time I made an enquiry or arrived for a lesson the person I spoke to was
able to give me the information I required without the usual run around.

Hay guys Ashley here;

I recently did some tickets with Major. I would like to thank you guys for all
your efforts. First of all of course the office girls nothing was too much &
you all have lovely smiles keep up the good work.

A special thanks to Scottish John & Johnno, two bloody good blokes that I look
forward to seeing next time I'm at Major. Thanks Rick for picking me up from the

My current job depended on my completion of an MR Course which John helped me

Hi Jane,

I would like to pass on some positive feedback from Stephen regarding the training
he did with your organisation. He states that he considered Dave Leech to be a
great teacher who demonstrated a lot of caring in his role as well as good
industry related feedback. Stephen also thought that Sue was great.

I saw Stephen on 24th February so I'm not sure whether this request is still
relevant (I have been absent from work with the flu) - He was wondering whether
there was any way that he could book his licence test any earlier.

I have no hesitation in recommending any person who is seeking to use the services
of Major Training and Plant Hire.

The two week Certificate 11 course I embarked on was thoroughly professional from
the front desk through to the initial first week on studying logistics and
occupational health and safety through to the second week on Driver training.

I found the staff friendly, considerate and prepared to listen to enact changes
to suit my travelling and driver test as I was travelling from the Tweed each day.

Robert in particular I would like to single out as a trainer with great confidence
building skills, yet assertive and correct on improving my skill sets.

His encouragement along with the girls at the front desk enabled me to get my
licence in 3 short weeks and first attempt.

From this I was able to get work the very next day with my new HR licence.

Having been through a difficult period personally I am now buoyed by the overall
support and new work opportunities that lie ahead. So much so I have been offered
a business opportunity up North within the organisation.

I credit a lot of the support and care Major showed in getting me to this point.

Hi,

Hi there,

Today (Thursday 28th of May) I passed for my HR licence.

First of all I want to say many thanks to my instructor Robert for his
professional and great training skills.

He did a very good job in getting me to the level and self-confidence required
to pass the test for my HR licence.

Especially regarding the very limited timeframe that was available to us.

And I certainly would like to have him again as my instructor when I decide to
upgrade to an HC and/or MC licence in the future.

Also my appreciation goes out to the girls at the reception.

They were always nice and friendly to me and at the same time they were very
professional.

That is something you don't see a lot these days and it is certainly something
that a lot of other companies could learn from!

I will certainly recommend Major to anyone wanting to have a bit more than just
a licence to drive a car.

To Whom It May Concern

                Over the past two months I have been coming to your MR training
sessions so I could learn to drive a bus. At first I didn’t know what to expect
and the introduction was pretty relaxed and crusie. I left my first lesson
thinking maybe I could do this no problem, but was determined to come back
and learn as much as I could so I could pass my test with ease. Hence the reason
for this letter. After lesson two thinking my progression was heading backward
I met one of your trainer drivers Robert otherwise known as Bob.
That day (lesson 3) I was amazed at how much I learnt about the vehicle, how much
more control I had and most of all, I was made aware of the critical errors I was
making that where impairing my driving. Bob was honest, fair and very clear with
his explanations on how to rectify my problems.

Now I’ll let you know I’m a pretty easy going person and I was introduced to a
whole new wave of nerves tension by coming and wanting to expand my ability as a
driver. With my job at present a lot of people ask how do I handle the nerves,
but I’ll tell you what, I’ve never felt as nervous as I did have driving a bigger
vehicle and not to mention, the day of my exam. I was lucky enough to have a
trainer that cared and went out of his way to make sure that I would be able to
have a lesson with him. You see Bob explains things very clearly, that’s why
I was quiet amazed at what I accomplished in such a short time. Unfortunately on
my last drive, before the test, I had to have a new training driver. So I thought
“oh well, with the tools that Bob had prepared me with, I should be fine”
(yet still an unconscious uncertainty hung over me).

1:30 pm Wednesday July 1st 2009 I walk into the front office of Major and I was
met by a friendly face to wish me luck (so I Thought) then I find out that Bob
had asked the girls to restructure the whole day so that he could take me out on
my last run. WELL, you don’t know how lucky I was. My last run was atrocious,
I came apart with nerves. I did everything wrong and to think if I had a new driver
maybe I would have suffered a setback from the disbelief of my ability, but Bob
knew what I was capibial of and focused on removing the nervous tension and
preparing me for my drive. I have never been through an experience like it and
I don’t think I ever will again, who knows. One thing I do know, Bob gave me
enough courage to believe in myself that evening at my gig I blow the crowed
away with a certain strength of sureness that radiated through my performance
and I take with me from my lesson some very valuable techniques not only helping
me with my driving but with situations across my whole life. Bob has made a great
impression on me Thank you for this opportunity and thank you Bob for getting me
through this stage of my life and opening a door to another great adventure.

My name is Stewart Perrin and I have just completed a Certificate 3 in Transport
and Logistics (Road Transport) and wish to take this opportunity to express my
gratitude. Firstly to Chris the Trainer; Cheers Mate thank you for your insight
into the industry, your life experiences and the valuable knowledge you have
installed into me. Secondly to Driver trainers Bevan, Taffy and John; Thank you
for your persistence, patience, coaching and experience it was all greatly
appreciated, even though at times it didn’t seem it. Thirdly to all the Ladies at
Reception, Thank you for being so Professional, Friendly and Flexible, and thanks
Durrell for persisting with my employment service provider it too was appreciated.
I have now got my HR license with a road ranger gear box and it is all because of

I would like to thank all the staff at major training in yatala. I passed my hr license
on the 17/08/09. I would especially like to thank Bob my trainer.I had not done any
lessons in a month and had no chance of passing my test without him. As a trainer
you will not get better than him.He has a way of teaching witch is fun and enjoyable
that works.I will be back to major training next year to do my mc license and Bob
will be my trainer again. thanks again

time to help. I would like to thank Taffy for getting me started with my lessons

last lesson and showing me I could do this. I was very nervous but he had faith in me
and i think thats what pulled me through.
 
He showed me things that i needed to know for the test that I hadn't been shown,
and i was tested on them. I instantly felt comfortable with Bev, he is a credit to this
company.

Hey guys,

I would just like to thank major for their help with getting my HR licence. As i went
from never having been inside a truck before to getting my HR licence within
2months. the office girls were great and always had a smile. Which truly helps
when first walking into your buisness.

Last but not least. I would like to thank Robert or Bob, for without his instructions.
I believe i would have not passed my test. Having gone for 4 lessons with 2 other
instructors. I stuck the rest out with Bob and cannot thank him enough for his
assistance and patience with me. Please pass on my thanks. I will recomend your
company to all i meet who are looking to uprade teir licence, ticket etc etc.

I will be looking forward to upgrading in a year or so, (thought you got away from
my ugly mug hey Bob) and will definately be doing so with your company. Keep up
the good work. Thanks once again Bob.

To the General Manager,
 
I successfully passed my HR licence on wednesday afternoon after putting myself
through training with your company. I would like to say that i dont have a single
complaint regarding any of your trainers that i had, which i thought was all of them if
you see how many lessions i had but my last lesson i had before my test was with
BOB (sorry i dont know his last name). I would like to pass on my appreciation to
Bob as he showed me in about 20 minutes of my lesson areas in my driving that
REALLY helped me get a successful pass in my test. The big area he taught me that
no other instructor showed me was how to RECOVER. He spent some valuable time
showing me this in my last lesson which i only booked the day before (lucky me) as
i would have definately failed if it wasnt for this extra area he showed me. I think he
really noticed that there was an area that wasnt taught to me & he acted on it. My
question to you is WHY wasn't this taught to me during my regular sessions? Please dont
think this is a complaint to all your other trainers but Bob saw something that they didnt
& i am very greatful to him as i would have definately wasted $1700 plus dollars out of
my own pocket. I think this area needs to be added to your training but im not the expert.
I also believe Bob should overlook every Learner drivers last lesson before their test
as even though i thought i was confident of passing the day before, i think i would of
failed if it wasnt for Bob's expertise.

I filled out a form regarding MAJOR'S training prior to my last lesson which i stated
overall as excellent but i think i would have expressed differently if i pened it after
Bob's lesson.

Can you please pass on my sincere appreciation to him....He is a credit to your team!
