You must have held an open or provisional class HR (Heavy Rigid) or HC (Heavy Combination) license for 12 continuous months or more.
You must successfully complete one of the training programs below.
Major Operator and Driver Training Service is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) which run appropriate courses that are nationally recognised qualifications. Training, assessment and qualifications of the MC course are conducted my Major at our facilities.
HR License Holders:
Multi-Combination Course - Up to 2 1/2 days competancy based one-on-one program. (a Company Group option is available - max 5 students.)
HC License Holders:
Multi-Combination Course - 1 day competancy based one-on-one program. (a Company Group option is available - max 5 students.)
Additional Information:
This course provides the option of either a 420HP Volvo FH12 with a 14 speed synchromesh gear box or a 450HP Hino 700 18 speed Road Ranger gear box. You MUST be able to use this type of gearbox before you can attend the MC course or the Heavy Combination training.
New South Wales licence holders will need to check with the RTA (Roads & Traffic Authority of NSW) for additional requirements prior to commencement of training.
