This  program  is  designed  to  provide  traffic  controls  (Stop  Slow  Bat)  with  the  skills  and  knowledge  necessary  to  operate  as   traffic  controller  level  II,  as  require  by  the  Traffic  Controller  Accreditation  Scheme.    The  course  has  classroom  training  and   practical  activity  which  are  both  requiring  for  assessment.

TARGET POPULATION:

People who wish to advance in the Traffic Controller Industry.

Dinmore.

External   courses   are   subject   to   numbers   or   by   prior   arrangement. Additional   courses   can   be   held   for   company

specific/group  bookings  on  request,  providing  that  minimum  participant  numbers  are  sufficient.

COURSE DURATION:

The  course  runs  for  approximately  8  hours  for  Theory  section  of  the  course, 20  hours  required  for  the  practical  section  (On  the  Job)  the  assessment.

COURSE REQUIREMENTS:

• Hold a Traffic Control Licence issued by the Department of Transport
• Be able to read and write Basic English (Workplace Health & Safety Requirement).
• A Minimum of 18 years of age, (Workplace Health & Safety Requirement).
• Current Queensland drivers license
• Please arrive in work clothes and enclosed work boots, a pen would be good also.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Please note Traffic Controllers require a White Card Construction Induction Card to operate on work sites. This is not a pre-requisite in the Traffic Controller Course run by Major.
