MEDIUM RIGID (MR)

WHAT DO YOU NEED TO GET THIS LICENCE?

• You must have held an open or provisional class C or LR licence or equivalent for 12 continuous months or more.
• Successfully pass a Heavy Vehicle knowledge test with the Queensland Transport Department and Eyesight test. (Qld Transport charges a $19.85 fee for this service).
• Pay a Test Booking fee to the Qld Transport Department. Retain your receipt, as Major Operator and Driver Training Service will need the receipt number to make a Test Booking for you. (We recommend that you pay this fee when you do your Heavy Vehicle Knowledge test.)

The Heavy Vehicle Knowledge test consists of 10 questions, you are required to pass a minimum of 8 out of 10 to gain your Heavy Vehicle learners. Your actual test must be taken at a Queensland Transport Service centre. Click here for locations.

- Mid Week Test Fee – $46.55 (paid to Qld Transport)

LESSON TIMES:

Lessons are available from Monday to Saturday between 7:00am and 5:00pm in winter and 7:00am and 6:00pm in summer.
