Heavy Rigid Licence Requirements

What do you need to get this licence?

    * You must have held an open or provisional class C license for 24 continuous
      months or an open or provisional LR/MR licence for 12 continuous months
      or more.

    * Successfully pass a Heavy Vehicle knowledge test with the Queensland
       Transport Department and Eyesight test. (Qld Transport charges a
       $18.45 fee for this service).

    * Pay a Test Booking fee to the Qld Transport Department. Retain your
       receipt, as Major Operator and Driver Training Service will need the
       receipt number to make a Test Booking for you. (We recommend that
       you pay this fee when you do your Heavy Vehicle Knowledge test.)

      NOTE:
                 - Mid Week Test Fee - $43.65 (paid to Qld Transport)
                 - Weekend Test Fee - $130.00 (paid to Major we pay Qld Tpt)

LessonTimes:

Lessons are available from Monday to Saturday between 7:00am and 5:00pm in winter and 7:00am and 6:00pm in Summer.
