Reason for Course:
To provide the learner with the knowledge and skills required to recognise the characteristics, and safe handling practices of dangerous goods, as well as dealing with hazardous situations involving dangerous goods.
Course Content:
* Using established information systems to identify and describe hazardous
substances and dangerous goods in the workplace.
(Covers Warehouse Operations).
* Identify critical characteristics of dangerous goods and how to apply
appropriate safe work practices when dealing with dangerous and
hazardous goods.
* Explain the need for the segregation of particular classes of dangerous
goods in a workplace.

Qualification will be tendered to DOT QLD who will issue DG Licence subject to criminal check.
